My name is Wendy Caldwell. I have been an animal lover my entire life. All animals, and especially exotics. I have owned hedgehogs for over 15 years. 12 years of which I was a USDA licensed breeder in Minnesota. I stopped breeding shortly before my husband and I moved to Alaska. After 4 years of not having hedgehogs a huge part of my heart was missing. In 2018 I decided to bring them back in to my life. Finding hedgehogs in Alaska is not always easy. After several friends of mine were looking and seeking assistance from me I realized I missed breeding them so much and figured "let's get back on the horse". So here we are,  USDA Licensed Hedgehog Breeder in Alaska!

All my babies come from a fantastic line of pedigreed adults. I have pedigrees on all my breeders going back a minimal of 5 generations. All babies will have their own Pedigrees (names) which I keep on file. I sell to PET ONLY homes and do not pass along a copy of their pedigrees. This is for my protection and that of my breeder friends as many people have had “stolen” pedigree information falsified on non-pedigreed babies. Your babies pedigree can be viewed at time of pick up. All babies come with a 1 year congenital health guarantee and a lifetime warranty against WHS (Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome). All babies are $300 and come with a small bag of cat food, snuggle sack, birth certificate, and various goodies such as shampoo sample, nail clippers, mint stick, etc. I also send along bonding tips, care sheets and a Veterinary Clinic List. And, of course, ongoing support before, during and after purchase. I am always happy to help. Although I have been at this for many years, I DO NOT consider myself an expert but am happy to help pass along what has been successful for me in the past.
